Description

SNY-298C is apolyether modified amino silicone oil which is dispersible in water. It is specially designed as a soft and smooth finishing agent for polyester,polyester-cotton blended and knitted cotton fabrics.

Application

SNY-298C is suitable for soft and smooth treatment for following:

• Polyester fabrics

• Polyester cotton blended fabrics

• Knitted cotton fabrics

How to use

Typical microemulsion formula:

• SNY-298C: 20%

• Glacial acetic acid: 0.5%

• Surfactant C13(EO)6: 0-4%

• Preservative: 0.1%

• Deionized water: 75.4%

Process:

• Mix deionized water (40℃), glacial acetic acid and surfactant together and stir evenly

• Add SNY-298C slowly and stir continuously until a uniform and transparent emulsion obtained, add the second part of deionized water and preservative. Filter to remove impurities or undissolved silicone oil.

SNY-298C can be emulsified into a transparent and uniform emulsion without emulsifier.

Recommended dosage:

For padding process: 10g/L-30g/L (SNY-298C emulsion with 20% active content).

For dipping process: 0.2-0.8% SNY-298C based on fabric weight.
