Description

SNY-298 is apolyether modified amino silicone oil. It is specially designed as a soft and smooth finishing agent for polyester,polyester-cotton blended and knitted cotton fabrics.

Application

SNY-298 is suitable for soft and smooth treatment for following:

• Polyester fabrics

• Polyestercotton blended fabrics

• Knitted cotton fabrics

How to use

Typical microemulsion formula:

• SNY-298: 30%

• Glacial acetic acid: 0.65%

• Surfactant C13(EO)6: 10%

• Deionized water(1st part): 9.35%• Deionized water(2nd part): 50%

Process:

• Add surfactant and SNY-298 into a reaction kettle with an anchor paddle agitator. Stirring evenly for 20 minutes.

• Addfirst part deionized water and glacial acetic acid  together into the kettle while stirring. Add the second part of deionizedwater while stirring slowly and continuouslyuntil a uniform and transparent emulsion obtained.Filter to remove impurities or undissolved silicone oil.

Recommended dosage:

For padding process: 5g/L-15g/L (SNY-298 emulsion with 40% active content).

For dipping process: 0.2%-0.8% SNY-298 based on fabric weight.
