Amino silicone fluid SNY-290

Description

SNY-290 is a series of polydimethylsiloxane fluids with amino alkyl groups terminated. The organic-like nature of the primary amine groups gives this silicone oil excellent fabric affinity, resulting in longer-lasting softness and feel to textiles.

• Low cyclic siloxanes content

• Imparts a very soft and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics.

• Suitable as active substance in softener formulations for the impregnation of fibers and textiles.

• Has almost no effect on the degree of whiteness in a softener formulation.

SNY-290 can be applied neat, from solution or emulsion. Suitable solvents are aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, higher alcohols, and ketones.

SNY-290 is suitable for the formulation of microemulsions and macroemulsions. Emulsions of SNY-290 are diluted to certain concentration for specific fabric.
