Amino silicone Dispersion SNY-297

Description

SNY-297 is an dispersion of aminoalkyl and alkoxyl functional polydimethylsiloxane. The reactive group methoxy and amino group brings special features. SNY-297 can react with a variety of materials such as polyester, polyurethane, acrylic acid and carboxylic acid to provide durable silicone performance for a variety of coating and ink systems.

SNY-297 is soluble in many common organic solvents including aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, isobutane and lower alcohols (absolute). It is not soluble in water and hydrolyses in the presence of water. However, the properly formulated polish emulsions based on SNY-297 are very stable and do not lose performance benefits upon ageing.
