Description

SNY-OH2 is series hydroxyl functionalized perfluoropolyethers with all kinds of average molecular weights.
Molecular structure: HOC3F6O[CF(CF3)CF2O]nCF(CF3)CH2OH

Application

The terminal hydroxyl groups are further converted to form ethoxylation, sulfation, and phosphorylation to produce non-ionic or anionic degradable aliphatic surfactants, which are further converted into perfluoropolyether surfactants.
Reaction with acrylic or methacrylic compounds: formation of perfluoropolyether acrylate or perfluoropolyether methacrylate monomer for further polymerization.
Reacts with isocyanates: forms fluorinated fatty urethanes, ureas or carbodiimide surface protectant.
