Silicone Hydrophobic Emulsion SiFS-4004

Description

SiFS-4004 is a water-based, solvent-less emulsion based on a mixture of silane and siloxane. Served as general purpose water repellents for hydrophobic impregnating and priming mineral surfaces, SiFS-4004 is characterized by an excellent beading effect, especially applied as mass hydrophobation for non-load bearing concrete to prolong the life span of building materials.

Application

Dilute SiFS-4004 is an excellent water repellent for many porous mineral substrates, such as bricks, sand-lime  brick,natural sandstone, mineral plasters and other silicate building materials. Owing to its aqueous consistency and storage stability when diluted, SiFS-4004 is ideal for mass hydrophobation of building materials made of clay, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, mineral fiber,etc.

Use guide

• Process as admixture for concrete:Recommended dosage of SiFS-4004 is 1.0 % to 3.0 % by weight of the cement.• Additive for concrete:Recommended dosage of SiFS-4004 is 1.0 % to 3.0 % by weight of the cement.

• Surface treatment use:Recommended active  substance content of 5-10% (dilute the product in the ratio 1:5 to 1:8), the exact figure depending on how absorbent the substrate is. Homogenize the concentrate before use.
