Description
FC-336 is an amphoteric fluorosurfactant consists of perfluorinated and hydrocarbon surfactants. It can reduce the surface tension of aqueous solutions at a very low concentrations. It enables formation of an aqueous film which is able to spread on the surface of burning fire. Thus, FC-336 is widely used as a film forming agent in fire extinguishing foam concentrate against hydrocarbons and polar liquid fires.

FC-336 is a film forming agent used in both synthetic and protein-based fire fighting foam agents. Including aqueous film forming foam(AFFF) , film forming fluoroprotein (FFFP), alcohol-resistant aqueous film forming foam(AR-AFFF),and alcohol-resistant film forming fluoroprotein (AR-FFFP).
